March 5 Spotlight: Georgia Chivers

Georgia Chivers, aka Blu, is a 5th Grader at Irwin Intermediate School in Fort Bragg, NC. She is a year into her participation with The First Tee of the Sandhills programs at Stryker Golf Course and has officially gotten ‘the bug.’

The golfing bug, that is.

At the age of 11, Georgia has lived in six (6) states and attended five (5) different schools – but seems to have found footing in Fort Bragg where she is already running a neighborhood dog walking business, and understands that the game of golf could lead her to getting a college scholarship. She seems to already have The First Tee Life Skill of Planning for the Future figured out.
We sat down for a Quick 9 with Georgia. Here’s what else we found out!
